Movement Choirs
National Center for Civil and Human Rights, Atlanta
2016

Artist constructed choreographies are expressed as a local, global map for reconciliation and compassion.
Lauri is passionate about dance as a form of demonstration, a slogan devoid of any demands or words, suggesting a potential dialogue that may or may not occur.  The Choirs invite people to come together at an exhibition site to sit, skip, stand, kneel, prance, waltz, spin, be still, jump and hug.
